26 Tips for a Better Life and Health
1. Take a 20-30 minute walk daily. Smile while you walk. It's the utimate anti-depressant.
2. Sit in silence for at least 10 minutes each day. Buy a lock if necessary.
3. Each morning when you awake complete the following statement:
"My purpose today is to ____________________."
4. Eat more foods that grow on plants (God-made), less of those made IN Plants (man-made).
5. Drink green tea and plenty of water. Eat blueberries, wild Alaskan salmon, broccoli, almonds, and walnuts.
6. Try to make at least 3 people smile each day.
7. Give and receive at least 4 hugs a day.
8. Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince, and dinner like a college kid with a maxed out credit card.
9. Don't waste your energy on gossip, energy vampires, issues of the past, negative thoughts, or things you cannot control. Instead, invest your energy in the positive, present moment.
10. Life is not fair, BUT it is still good.
11. Life is too short to waste time hating anyone.
12. Don't take yourself too seriously. Nobody else does!
13. Make peace with your past, so it won't spill over and spoil the present or the future.
14. Don't compare your life to that of others. You have no idea what their journey is all about.
15. You don't have to win every argument. Sometimes you agree to disagree.
16. No one is in charge of your happiness except you.
17. Frame any "disaster" with these words, "Five years from now, will it matter?"
18. Forgive everyone for everything!!
19. What other people think of you is none of your business.
20. GOD helps almost everything...and He can heal everything if it's in His plan. We just need to trust His bigger picture.
21. However good or bad a situation is, it will change.
22. Your job won't take care of you when you're sick. Your friends will. Stay in touch.
